Likes:
His kitty tower, his mice, standing with his paws on the edge of the sink watching mommy put in her contacts or put on makeup.

Pet-Peeves:
having matts combed out of his fur, not being able to get to his mice, no longer being able to fit into the sink :(

Favorite Toy:
milk carton seals, twisty ties, and small fuzzy mice, all of which he batts under the french doors to the dining room, causing him to sit and stare at them through the glass

Favorite Nap Spot:
Our bed, especially when we're in it, the RED chair in the kitchen (it can't be the green, black, or yellow chair, it must be the RED one), under the sofa table where he thinks no one can see him.

Favorite Food:
He loves to eat, and sneaks into the kitchen to get the dogs' food when he thinks we're not paying attention. He also really likes the Hill's Prescription Diet T/D food... maybe this means he'll never need a teeth cleaning.

Skills:
He talks, mainly to himself, sometimes to us, and to the mice in the dining room. He also can make it to the top of his 8 foot kitty tower in two leaps.

Arrival Story:
We met a neighborhood Maine Coon and fell in love with its personality. I was satisfied to simply have him as a visitor, as he was so friendly he'd barge in through our back door and make himself comfortable in our house. My husband, however, felt we needed our own. We contacted a several breeders, and went to a huge Coon cattery. We picked his color before he was born, and picked Fred out when he was still 4 weeks old. We went to visit him almost every weekend until he could come home with us at 12 weeks.

Bio:
Alfred is a clown. He's only gotten friendlier with age. He loves to sleep on our bed between our pillows, purring loudly until he falls asleep, occasionally putting a big fuzzy paw on our noses to let us know he loves us. He also likes to help wrap presents by sitting on the paper.
