Well, as usual, I am ready for spring. We had quite a bit of nasty weather the past few weeks and mom is looking to move to Aruba!
First we had an awful ice storm. It took down so many trees and lots of people were without power for days. Some smaller trees bent right over and went though the new fence. Mom wasn't happy but she is glad it is something that can be fixed and the house is okay.
We were lucky to have power the whole weekend. Grandma and Grandpa Ed didn't and tried to keep the house warm by using the fireplace. They thought it would come back on soon. But after a day and a half they decided to pack up and sleep over at our house! We almost had 6 cats here but Bucky made such a stink that they left him with Willie and mom's warm down comforter for the night. Tooney came to visit and had a great time at our house. I was so glad to see him. He was glad to be in a nice warm house. He really enjoyed his stay and I could tell he wanted to check out the sunroom. Too bad it is too cold out or else I would have invited him out to watch the birdies. Maybe next summer.
Then this past weekend we had 2 snow storms! About a foot and a half of snow. Mom and dad are snowed out and want to see the sunshine! I am sick of looking at it too. The only neat thing is the birdies are more visible at the birdie feeder.
Uncle Chris and his family are on their way here for Christmas. I hope their flights don't get delayed! It seems like the weather is making a lot of people angry!
Merry Christmas everyone! AND best wishes for the new year!
Hi everyone,
Well, mom's dad, my Grandpa Ed had to be admitted to the hospital Friday night. His difibulator went off. So he went to have it read and they determined there was a small blockage. It made mom and Grandma scared but they know he is in good hands. He is doing fine and will have a cardiac cath tomorrow if his blood is thick enough. That ought to take care of the blockage. Mom is glad that dad works at the hospital. He is keeping an eye on Grandpa Ed. He is only 63 and is my buddy from way back. He spoiled me and let me out on my leash all the time.
How do I know all these big words? Well, mom is typing this for me to help explain it all!
