Arrival Story: One day mommy and daddy came to visit me where I was staying (daddy's son's house) when I was very young. They knew my name was Trouble, but they loved me anyway. I loved the car ride home and slept in mommy's purse when I got bored. I immediately loved my new home! There are three grown up female kitties here, and Sandy is the youngest. She's my girlfriend and I love to play with her and keep mommy and daddy up at night. My sister still lives with daddy's son and his mom.

Bio: I almost never sleep... except when I'm gearing up for an exciting night of climbing doorframes, windows and curtains - not to mention chasing and wrestling the three other kitties! I like to play with Unity, but she is not amused when I do, so I try to leave her alone. Sandy is my girlfriend!!!

Recently, one night, when mom wasn't looking I dashed out the door. She didn't see me because I'm so dark and quick! Besides, I had been planning this for a long time.
So when her friend that was visiting left the door open, (because some people don't know that kitties like me will take advantage of such opportunities, ha!) I finally got to go out all by myself.
So spent nearly a week and a half in the outdoors! Some of it was really fun, (especially playing with other kitties!) but not all of it. I was in for a big surprise once the weather got cold again and it started to rain. I had to hole up under an old loveseat someone had thrown by the dumpster. I missed my warm soft bed and all the nice food I used to get.
My mommy called for me and searched all over every day, but I didn't start answering till I got tired of all the rain and the big mean tom cats that live around here. Nothing beats all the love and cuddles I get from Mommy! I missed her!
I guess she missed me terribly, too, because she hung signs all over town, put ads in the paper and told all the neighbors to call if they'd seen me. People are still calling, but it must sadly be other kitties less fortunate than me, who don't have homes. I am so grateful that I am not one of them.
The good news is that my grandma takes care of all the stray cats she can find in the area. She spends hours almost every day feeding the hungry cats in this town and the next one over. She also gets them fixed so they don't make more stray babies. If you see a stray cat that's just a little bit overweight, you know Grandma's been there.
Anyway when I finally was back in momma's arms, I felt safe again. I follow her around all the time and get a little nervous when she leaves or goes into another room and closes the door. She picks me up and snuggles me. I like to sleep next to her head and lick her face while she nuzzles my soft velvety fur.
